Hi,
I need to answer in 2 parts.
1. Negative lab reports can be due to many reasons (e.g. already taken anti allergic,
steroids, sample not taken during acute attack, antibody level is below the detection level). Hence, this is not the best way to rule of
allergy to particular agent / antigen.
2. Regarding the symptoms, try to observe and identify the allergen causing the reaction. Looking at your symptoms, try to wear mask, glasses and cotton buds for ear to best avoid coming in contact with allergen. The avoiding food items which precipitates the symptoms. You can use over the counter anti-allergics if needed even after such precautions. If the symptoms are severe, interfering with normal breathing and leading normal life, I highly recommend you to
consult a pulmonologist or allergy clinic.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
