Suggest Remedy For Severed Vagus Nerve

my relative had diverticulitis & had a foot of his intestine removed...since the operation he has had strange side effects. he gets dizzy, but sometimes his heart races...after eating breakfast he has to go to sleep, some times he collapses. he finally wen to file for Social security diability....they sent him to a nuerologist who did an MRI and he said his VAgus nerve was severed in surgury. that was the cause of his problem. Can anything be done. he can t work, he is losing his house and he and his wife don t know what to do. thanks
