Suggest Remedy For Sharp Burning Pain In Throat And Chest With Blood In Cough
I swallowed a chip the wrong way and it scratched slowly down my throat until my chest started hurting and then it went away. But about 2 hours later when I tried to eat something else, there was sharp and burning pain in my throat and chest/esophagus area when I swallow. It really hurts and I taste a hint of blood if I cough. What should I do to stop it? Its been about 4 hours since I ate the chip and it keeps getting worse with time. Please help!

Stick to a cold semi-solid or liquid diet. The cold will help to construct the circulation and thus reduce the bleeding and swelling.
Continue with drinking cold fluids for at least the next 2-3 days.
