Hi. I'm a 21 year old male and I have in the past 3 months developed a harsh red rash on my face, primarily on the cheeks, nose and forehead (worst on cheeks). it was originally diagnosed as eczema as i have have eczematic patches on my body and have a history of eczema. however, the hydrocortisone cream i was prescribed did not fully solve the problem and every time i stopped using it, the rash came back with a vengeance. i stopped using it again 3 days again and now i have a very strong red rash. i saw the doctor again today and she has suggested it might be rosacea. do you think this is plausible? (i also suffer from recurrent eye irritation) do you think that the hydrocortisone would have had any effect had it been rosacea all along? i'm not sure if i believe my GP...
