Hey, I'm having trouble falling asleep at night.. usually end up passing out around 4:00 am and sleep half the day away.. although I am usually dead tired when I come home from school, and take a nap for 2 hours. I know I probably shouldn't be taking naps, but I feel like I have to. Also, I feel like I have to use the washroom more than usual.
You need proper sleep hygiene to restore sound sleep.
Avoid naps because it disturbs your night sleep. Once you start this then within 1 week your sleep will get improved.
Fix sleep schedule and stick to it. Avoid tea coffee and soft drink at bed time. Avoid smoking and alcohol if any.
Exercise and proper diet can help.
Keep calm bed room and listening music can be useful.
Psychological evaluation to find any stress can be beneficial. Medicines are helpful but follow sleep hyigene first and then if needed consult psychiatrist for further assistance.
I hope I have answered your question. Thank you. Get well soon.
