Suggest Remedy For Smelling Very Strange And Strong Smell

I have had chronic sinusitis and 4 sinus surgeries since 2009. I also had 6 sets of tubes from 1992-2001. I recently started seeing a new ENT at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville for reoccurring sinus issues once more. After my last surgery, my sense of smell has not been good as it was prior to surgery. Today out of no where I began smelling a very strange and strong smell. Strong enough to make me vomit. Things like sprays, lotion, food, etc. are not able to mask the smell. The smell is stronger while I m in my apartment, but outside, in my car, everywhere else I continue to smell it. Drinks do not have a great taste as well. I m breathing through my mouth because the smell hasn t upset my stomach so much. Any idea what this could be?
