General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
The brown spots on the tongue are tonsils of the tongue called lingual tonsils.
The enlargement of all the structures like pharyngeal tonsils and throat is suggestive of an active infection.
I would suggest you to undergo the following tests::
*CBC, Urine tests , blood sugar and kidney function tests.
* swab from the infected area for gram staining and culture & sensitivity
- Start on an antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medicines as per the advise of an ENT Surgeon .
