Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What started as a PAINFUL, hard, almond-sized "sore" on the roof of my mouth turned non-painful and puffy-soft to the touch of my tongue. However, at this point numbness accompanied this "area" which has been present for about three weeks. A visit to urgent care the first week revealed nothing and no meds. The doctor said it looked as if I ate something hot and burned the area. But that hasn't been the case. No discoloration of note.
thank you for asking! Oral vitamin B12 intake, topical oral steroid gels, topical tetracyclins ,Chlorhexidine gluconate and bioadhesive (Gelclair) mouth rinses , garlic water mouth rinses,Topical anti inflammatory agents like benzydamine and amlexanox would get you through these symptoms. brush your teeth softly and slowly as they might be the reason for recurrent ulcers, keep the good oral hygiene , say in touch with your dentist and you would not have to worry about it any more take care
