hi,
thank you for providing the brief history of you,
A thorough neuromuscular assessment is advised.
Based on your symptoms an ortho will be helpful to do a clinical assessment with clinical special test to assess your spine. Also, if he finds a need, than an
MRI will be advised as it will help to visualize the status of the soft tisse in the
lumbar spine.
Since , the symptoms are not to old, i will advise to get a MRI scan done, as the earlier the cause is known the better we can shape the future together. To avoid the recurrent pain in the future, you need to get a proper diagnosis.
Also, once the diagnosis is made, you will be helped with medication and also
physical therapy. Using the Therapeutic
ultrasound therapy and
TENS therapy, the pain will be lowered but here it does not end. You will need, to undergo the exercise prescription as well, to make the muscles stronger. As to avoid the future return of the pain.
With my clinical experience, the sooner we start, the better we shape the future. 99% of my patients once diagnosed and is on the combination of medicine and physical therapy, the recurrent back pains are lesser or can say minimal. Hope to see you pain free soon.
