Suggest Remedy For Stomach Discomfort, Diarrhea When Suffering From Typhoid
Our family is from the U.S. But we have been living in Mexico for the last year. Our 8 year old daughter had typhoid about two months ago and then a bout of diarrhea about a month later along with Some bouts of nausea. She also has egg, peanut, and milk allergies and mistaken came in contact with eggs that caused her to get sick for a few hours. Anyway it s been a rough few months for her and what is more worrying is that she daily is experiencing stomach discomfort or pain. During the above mentioned bout of diarrhea her dr. here gave her enterogermina along with a couple of other medications that were not antibiotics. She never took the enterogermina and so I was wondering if she should take it. I was wondering if the enterogermina could help with getting her stomach bacteria back in order and if that might be the reason for the continued discomfort. Any help would be greatly appreciated. -matt
It would not be harmful to her so she can safely use it, the other option would be to use a type of yogurt that contains probiotics such as activa, original yoplait.
If the pain persists then other causes would need to be ruled out eg reflux, persisting infection, lesion
I hope this helps
