Suggest Remedy For Stress, Nervousness And Restlessness
Hi, I have a 19 years old boy who is a student and all of the sudden so many things happend to him and he got hospitalized for 2 weeks and now he is taking medication but the problem is that he looks so stressed out and nervous and he has his headphone and listens to Eminem songs very loud and just walks so fast at home, he says that he can not sit or sleep, what can i do?
He is 19 years old and is very stressed and nervous. He has decreased sleep. He is not able to sleep properly and he moves here and there. He has been hospitalised also. Such symptoms can occur in a young male due to anxiety but there are many other possibilities that should be ruled out.
One thing I want to know, whether he is abusing some drugs? Amphetamines can result in severe anxiety. Other possible reason for his symptoms is some underlying conflict. Due to some stress he might not be able to sleep properly. Anxiety is other possibility.
I would advise you to consult a psychiatrist for evaluation and treatment. Medicines like low dose benzodiazepines as Etizolam, Oxazepam etc, propranolol can help to reduce distress and he will improve.
