Suggest Remedy For Stuck Sensation In Throat After Taking Capsule

I just took a capsule and i can feel it stuck at the top of my throat. I tried eating bread and buscuits to try get it down but nothing seems to be working! Im also drinking water but thats not helping either. Will the capsule eventually dissolve in my throat and if it will, how long will it take? It does not hurt but it is just uncomfortable and since i am taking these capsules for a throat infection, it is extremly sore to swollow the bread and biscuits.

Understanding your concern.

Thanks for your query .The symptom of stuck sensation in your throat is not actually something that stuck in your throat . The capsule you took irritate mucosa of throat ,as a result it got swollen which give you feel of something stuck.

No need to panic just do betadine gargles or warm saline gargles 2-3 times a day . The condition will be relieved in 1-2 days .

If the condition persist then you should consult ENT specialist (EAR,NOSE,THROAT) for proper examination and to rule out other condition like throat infection . Doctor may prescribe antibiotic course (amoxicillin).
