My 7 year old daughter has a stuffy nose, sneezing, coughing (keeps her up at night) and had a low grade fever for one day then gone then next day with other symptoms remaining still. How do I know if I should take her the Dr. of if it is just a cold? Thank you.
in my opinion this is an attack of viral upper respiratory tract infection. I would recommend you to take palliative treatment and avoid using antibiotics. you should give her antihistaminic antipyretic medication. avoid cold food, icecream. nasal decongestant xylometazoline nasal drops for 5 days. steam inhalation hot bath.
