I got an insect bite, do not know the insect, after several minutes it starting itching for approximately 10 min. I applied a Benadryl relief stick. Later it resulted in a lump swelling about 1 in. i dabbed with alcohol, then applied ice which decreased the swelling. later the lump swelling developed into a elongated condition about 2 1/2 in. that remained to the present 24 hours later. I presently am taking Benadryl tablets, no change to swelling. Any other treatment options?
