Suggest Remedy For Swelling And Itching In Penis After Bug Bite
My 12 year old son came to me complaining about bug bites on his penis. He said that he has been scratching it a lot. He refused to show me, but he showed my husband. My husband said that the head of his penis has swollen bad and could not tell if it was a bug bite or chigger bite?? What can I do to help the itching and bring the swelling down.

Hi,
This suggests allergic reaction to the bite. Give him Ibuprofen 200mg (one and half tablets) and Levocetirizine 2.5mg tablets. If getting better, continue Ibuprofen 3 times daily and Levocetirizine once daily for 3- 5 days. If no relief in 2 hours of starting, take him to doctor without further delay.
