Suggest Remedy For Swelling In Leg Due To Cellulitis

My friend has a hard swollen leg. she went to emerg and they said cellulitis and treated her for 5 days with IV antibiotics. yesterday they did an ultrasound and said the surface veins were clogged with infection but took her off IV mess and just gave her pills. she s no better today. should she be going back to emerg?

Cellulitis treatment to patients with non purulent infection should be managed with empiric antibiotic therapy. It should be better in 48 hours if not better it should be cause from something else. Like you said they saw vein clot so it would be the cause of swelling and the treatment should be different.
