Suggest Remedy For Swelling Of Testicles

Hello, I'm currently taking antibiotics for a urine infection that seems to be clearing up. However my right testicle has swollen substantially (not a lot of pain if I give it room). What is the best way to reduce swelling at this point? Will ice work or does it have to be drained? I have a follow up in 2 weeks or should it be addressed sooner? Thanks.........JC

Urologist 's  Response
Hello JC and welcome to HCM.
As an Urologist, let me advise you, that you should be seeing a doctor at the earliest, as a substantial swelling of testis, in a short duration, is a matter of concern.
It will be diagnosed properly after examination, and confirming with certain blood tests and an Ultrasound scan with doppler of the scrotum.
Once cause is diagnosed, proper treatment will be advised.
If you've any other doubts, you may direct the question in my name here, with the reports. Wish you well.
