Suggest Remedy For Swelling On Cheek Post Injury

Hi , my girl aged 20 months weighed 12.5kg fell from a highchair today, left cheek was swollen and there is bruising over at her upper lips, otherwise she has been active, no bleeding from nose or ear observed. Should i be bringing her for an assessment ? thanks

It is expected to be a swelling after the injury she had. Local edema is a normal reaction of the body against hitting. If the swelling is not too big and it does't cause problems to the girl, you don't have to be worried. The girl is active, no other symptoms, and i guess she feeds normally. Just keep watching it for any other changing. You can just use cold compresses to remove the swelling. No other medications are needed.
