Suggest Remedy For Swollen Bruises In Back

Our daughter was diagnosed with an ear infection on Thursday. Today, Sunday, she is complain ing of intermitent knee pain, ankle pain, and back pain. When I took a look at her back I noticed a small bruise (the size of a nickel), an hour later, I noticed a large swollen area around the small bruise, no additional bruising, just swelling, a little larger than a softball in diameter. What is happening with her? She is not taking any oral medication, just drops for her ear.

Dear patient
What is her age? If she is around 10 then ear infection with multiple joint pains and with nodules in back suggest diagnosis of acute rheumatic fever. Is joint pain shifting fro one joint to other? Is she having palpitations? Acute rheumatic fever is condition caused by bacteria in which first there is sore throat and ear infection followed 2 weeks after with multiple shifting joint pains and nodules over the body. You need to consult physician or cardiologist as soon as possible and get yourself examined. Large dose of aspirin and injection penicillin is usually given for treatment.
