My right ear in the helix and crest of the helix is crusty and when i pick it it is a yellowish green goo that is then dried to make the crustiness. I woke up with that Friday and then Saturday I woke up with my right eyelid swollen and some crustiness.
An OTC topical antibacterial e.g 2% Mupirocin twice daily can be applied over the boil.
Hope this helps regards

Suggest Remedy For Swollen Eye Lid And Crustiness
Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic You seem to have impetigo which is a superficial bacterial infection characterised by oozing and crusting (classically honey colored crusts). If I was the treating doctor I would have suggested an oral antibiotic for a week. My choice of oral antibiotic would have been either: Amoxycillin 500mg in combination with clavulanic acid 125 mg, thrice daily for a week OR Ceplhalexin 500 mg thrice daily for a week OR Cefadroxil 500 mg twice daily for a week. An OTC topical antibacterial e.g 2% Mupirocin twice daily can be applied over the boil. Hope this helps regards
