Hello my friend
Thanks for your question on HCM
1st-degree burn.A first-degree burn is the least serious type, involving only the outer layer of skin. It may cause:
1.Redness
2.Swelling
3.Pain
So you should advice him to:
1.Remove rings or other tight items from the burned area. Try to do this quickly and gently, before the area swells.
2.Don't break small blisters if he have tham(no bigger than your little fingernail). If blisters break, gently clean the area with mild soap and water,
apply an antibiotic ointment, and cover it with a nonstick gauze bandage. To not spread the puss.
3.Apply moisturizer,
aloe vera lotion or gel, or low-dose
hydrocortisone cream, which may provide relief in some cases.
4.If needed, take an over-the-counter pain reliever, such as
ibuprofen or
acetaminophen..
Hope this information is helpful
Best regards
