Hi,
Noted the history about a 40 year old female having
psoriasis in ear and on scalp, discharge from ear, development of lymph nodes in neck as explained by you.
The reason for the development of lymph nodes with
ear discharge and
psoriasis are most probably the infection in the area of drainage that is from scalp, ear or even any infection in oral cavity like
gingivitis and so on.
Hence I would advise you the following in such a situation:
Consult your Doctor for clinical evaluation, examination and investigations.
Tests of blood.
Rule out diabetes.
Ultrasonography for the nodes and FNAC if needed.
Get started on appropriate antibiotic, anti-inflammatory.
Continue treatment for psoriasis, may be take an opinion of a
Dermatologist.
Once the course is over if not much effective for ear discharge then take an opinion of an ENT Surgeon also for proper cleaning, tests and whatever is needed to get additional treatment if required.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, General and ENT Surgeon
