my left armpit is suffering from swollen lymph nodes.. before it was small like size of a thumb but now it grows and the size is almost half of my fist.. its very painful when i am moving my arm.. i am taking erythromycin as medication.. is that the right medicine? why it grows so big?
Hi, dear I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. You may have enlarged axillary lymphnode. It can be due to reactive hyperplasia, tuberculosis, lymphoma or metastatic carcinoma. You should go for ultrasound study and if needed go for fine needle aspiration cytology or biopsy of that lump. It will give you exact diagnosis. Then you should take treatment accordingly. Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
