Suggest Remedy For Swollen, Painful Knee Post A Hit
I really hurt my knee.. I was sitting in my computer chair and scooted up and hit the bone of my knee on the leg of boyfriend s desk. It s a little swollen and I can t walk without limping and almost crying I ve put ice on it and 6 hours later it s swollen a little more than what it was when I hit it. What s wrong?
Welcome at HCM i have gone through your query and being your doctor I completely understand your health concerns... Based upon the history you have provided I don't think you should worry a lot... Just stay calm and everything will be alright... Its just an inflammatory reaction going on secondary to trauma... Continue with icing and take rest. Use knee brace and avoid any joint movement take anti information medications like ibuprofen or mefanamic acid.... It will take atleast week to fully resolve. Regards Dr saad sultan
