Suggest Remedy For Swollen, Red, Painful Lumps On Armpit

I had mrsa a few weeks ago and had to have 2 spots on my face drained. Now I have swollen, red and very painful lumps in my armpits. The emergency room said I had cellulitus and I have had swollen lymph nodes before but they have never been this painful before. They hurt to move my arm and they burn. What do I need to do???? I really don t want to go to the ER unless I absolutely have too.

Hi,

I understand your concerns.

The painful lumps you are having in your armpits are infected lymphnodes. If you had MRSA a few weeks ago, then, most probably you are also having another flare up at this moment.

So, I highly recommend to consult with your doctor or go to ER as soon as possible as you need to start another course of antibiotics. Surgical drainage is also to consider.

All the best!
