My 7 year old son has been complaining of excess saliva and difficulty swallowing for the past 6 days. Also at times but not always c/o stomach upset and food coming up into his throat, or he will say that chews his food and it "turns into a bunch of pieces". I looked in his throat; is tonsils are slightly swollen and pink and there is a very very small amount of blood on his rt tonsil. I have wondered about allergies, or reflux; what would you think?
You say that your son has swollen tonsils and also blood and then you need a home remedy?!! My advice would be to immediately consult an ENT so that a proper diagnosis and treatment can be meted out. In any case if the tonsils are causing problems then it would be better to take them out by a simple surgery. You can get back to me on this regards
