Suggest Remedy For Tender Lump On Lower Back

I fell on a wooden bed board and hit my lower back. There was a loud cracking sound and now a lump where i hit it. It is very tender. I wasn t stunned to the point where i thought i needed to go tho the hospital but i know something is wrong. What do you think could be the problem? Thanks Mel
