Hi..
Can understand your concern..
As per your complain due to continuous rubbing there have been trauma to the mucous membranes leading to inflammation and cut in mucosa occurred as a result of
injury..
The bumps occurred as a result of inflammation and as the inflammation will subside there will be reduction in size of bumps and the cut or laceration will heal simultaneously as the oral cavity has a profuse blood supply leading to faster healing.
What you can do is to take Advil or
Ibuprofen to get relief from pain and inflammation as it has anti-inflammatory action also.
Gargle with warm saline water.
For relief from discomfort during chewing apply a numbing gel like orabase or mucopain to avoid discomfort during chewing.
Gargle with antimicrobial mouthwash helps in preventing infections.
Suck on ice pops to relieve inflammation fast.
Drink cold fluids and cold water in plenty of quantities to prevent
dehydration and reduce inflammation.
Gargles using 1:1 quantity of
milk of magnesia and
benadryl liquid can provide relief.
Avoid hot, spicy and hard foods.
