Suggest Remedy For Throat Infection With Cough

My wife aged 39 recently had throat infection with cough. sometime blood accompanied with cough. We got tested with X ray chest and Mantoux test . The test with 27mm showed positive and doctor immediately prescribed AKT4 for TB treatment. Is this diagnosis sufficient enough for TB positive. Should nt we go for further confirmation . Is mantoux test 100% confirmation for TB. Pl suggest.

No mantoux test is not 100% confirmatory for TB so you can go for sputum AFB or culture as you had done x-ray chest also but not mentioned the findings here which are very important in diagnosis of tuberculosis. Take the AKT medicines regularly and make habit of wearing the mask. Thank You
