Hi, I just had a tonsillectomy 8 days ago. I can tolerate the pain pretty well and have been taking both advil and tylenol with codone to help with the pain. Only today have I started spitting up mucus non-stop and I feel like there's something dangling in my throat. I'm thinking that it's because the scabs are falling off. I'm not seeing any blood but I did have a bloody nose this morning and yesterday morning. It's only my left nostril, though. Should I be concerned since there's a chance for bleeding? What can help my throat and stop me from spitting up mucus every 2 seconds?
