Hi,

I am sorry for the situation you are going through.

Throbbing pain in the stomach associated with bloating and coughing are suggestive for possible gastroesophageal reflux.

Upper endoscopy is advised to determine the right diagnosis.

The treatment includes :
- diet changes : avoid spicy, chilli, oily, foods, etc.; drink more water, have your dinner at least 4 hours before going to bed,

- lifestyle changes : lose weight if overweight, increase physical activity, try to cope with stress, do not lay down immediately after eating

- medications : ppis (e.g. omeprazole, pantoprazole, lansoprazole, etc.)
ranitidine depending on endoscopy findings.

Wish fast recovery!
