Suggest Remedy For Tingling Bump On Chin Post An Accident

I was in a car accident a month ago, striking my chin on the steering wheel. Bruising has gone away completely and swelling has decreased completely. However, there remains a bump on my chin that does not hurt but tingles when putting pressure on it. is that normal or not?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello thank you for approaching HCM.I understand your concerns.

Bruise in the normal healing process changes its colours. Some times blood clots underneath the skin and leads to bump formation.

Depending on the skin type it may take time to decrease completely.

You had it before 1 month, you have no pain ,that indicates that there is a HEMATOMA underneath the skin, which is not dangerous condition.

Use hot compress and cold ice compress alternately for about 20minutes each for few days.

No ointment is required now.

Just use a good moisturizer .

Hope this will help you .
Thank you.
