Suggest Remedy For Tiny Pimples In The Face With White Flakes

I have tiny hard bumps on my face that appear to look like little pimples but if you scratch them or pinch them little white flakes come out. Some are very tiny and some are slightly bigger like the size of a pimple, I started out with a few here and there and now they are taking over my whole face,and I m also starting to get dry flaky patches as well on my chin and nose ,these patches don t last long but the bumps seem to clear an get worse randomly.....can you help me

Understanding your concern.

Thanks for your query . The symptom you mention in query are pointing towards condition known as seborrheic dermatitis . It can occur due to various reasons like fungal infection , certain medications , cold and dry weather . Some times stress can also induce such condition.

I would suggest you to consult dermatologist for proper examination and to rule out conditions like atopic dermatitis or psoriasis . Doctor may order skin test and prescribe anti fungal cream, face wash or lotions containing ketoconazole and hydrocortisone and oral anti fungal drugs like terbinafine.

You should use olive oil , avoid scratching and wash face twice a day .
