I have redness around my tonsils on both sides, i never noticed it before , its very red but not it has not spread into other part of mouth. I don't have any pain or discomfort. I may be getting acid reflux it's very mild at present hopefully it will go away, this is what made me look at my mouth.
I am 60 year old male , generally in good health, taking 100mg tenormin for last 30 years, BP controlled. Due to gold injury recently may have caused hernia on left side of abdomin, did have some discomfort for a few weekd now gone, my GP said it was muscular.
Any advice would be hekpful.
The redness may be due to a localized infection and the best treatment for that is warm salt water gargle 3 to 4 tines a day. Please avoid hit and spicy food as it can also cause the redness. Please dont worry!! Thanks
