Suggest Remedy For Tooth Pain While Recovering From Sinus Infection
I have had tooth pain in the upper jaw. I went to the dr he put me on an antibiotic for a sinus infection. I have been taking it for 3 days. There has been no change in the tooth pain and now it is tingly and numb. Could it be more than a sinus infection?
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain if you have pain in a single tooth that you can point out then there is a possibility that you have either infection or crack in the tooth leading to inflammation of nerves causing pain. It can be a cause of pain in tooth.. Sinus infection can cause diffuse pain in multiple teeth and is not localized to one tooth.. Although infection in upper molars can cause sinus infection due to close vicinity of root of the molars with the floor of sinus. You should consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and in case of tooth infection an IOPAR [x-ray] can help diagnosis and treatment can be planned accordingly. As of now you can take anti-inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen for relief from pain..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards. Dr.Honey Nandwani Arora.
