Suggest Remedy For Vaginal Redness With Burning Sensation During Urination

Today I went to the washroom and noticed there was some burning when I pee. I m prone to UTIs but this is different it also hurts to touch! The outer skin on my labia majora and the line of my buttocks when standing is quite red and it hurts to touch. I m wondering if it s just heat irritation as it has been uncomfortably hot here of it it could be something else. What should I do?

Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.

Redness and itching on the vagina could be due to fungal infection of skin .

It is more common when you are having malnutrition.

You said you are more prone to UTIs ,for that take plenty of water and citrus fruits and cranberry juice.

For your present problem apply calamine lotion thrice daily ,it will cause soothing effect and decrease the irritation.

Apply anti fungal cream like KETO or FLUCANAZOLE .

Take antibiotic to prevent secondary bacterial infections.

Use loose garments and cotton garments.

If itching is high take L-MONTUS(levocetrizin and monteulukast combination)

Get a dermatologist consultation and have a bedside examination to have a clear diagnosis.
