Suggest Remedy For Vomiting And Diarrhea With Mild Fever

I went to ER last night for severe vomitimg and diariha, no fever, xrays clear. Took Zofran and lomitel and still taking the lometil. Today I have a fever of 101. No vomiting, but some diareha. Feel lousey. Thought it was food poisoning, but not much better today, and now a fever. what do you suggest. Took tynanol for fever.

Dear user,

I really understand your concern.

Based on your introduction I think you have gastroenteritis, most likely is bacterial.

Rehydration is one of the most important factors in the prevention of complications, so I would prescribe Oral Rehydrations Salts.

If the diarrhea persist more than 7 days that has had no response to usual treatment, you should go to ER.
