General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Based on the history you have shared, complete blood count, liver and renal function tests as well as serum electrolytes and inflammatory markers may be needed. A chest X-ray for any signs of atypical pneumonia should be ruled out which may present with gastric symptoms initially. Also dehydration or electrolytes imbalance should be ruled out. Hydration, antibiotics and fluids may be needed.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
