Suggest Remedy For Weak Calves, Thirst, Difficulty Breathing And Blurry Vision After Increasing Dosage Of Simvastatin

I went from taking 20 mg to 40 mg of simvastatin 5 months ago. My legs, specially my calves, have become super weak. I get very thirsty, specially, at night. I urinate a small amount 5 or 6 times, also at night. I have trouble breating after walking 10 to 20 yards. Finally, my eyes water and my vision is somewhat blurry. Thank you.

hi,
Statins can have effect on calf muscles. you seem to be developing statin toxicity, from your symptoms. i suggest you to go for CK/CPK/Creatinne test (blood) which will tell about the probable state of your calf muscles. other symptoms may or may not relate to the drug.
At the present, stop the drug and visit a physician for proper addresal of the issue.
all the best.
