My father, age 90, is brining up a lot of mucus, he has a pacemaker, HE TAKES Aspirin every day, he does have some pain (mild) and he is wheezing, could hs lungs be filling up with fluid, could he have pneumonia, or bronchitis, he quit smoking 19 years ago, he does not want to go to the hospital now, he sys to take him tomorrow afternoon (he has games shows to watch( Should I force him to go to the hospital or just keep an eye on him tonight? He is fine other wise. He is a tuff nut, cantankerous too. Thank you

The symptoms you had mentioned are mostly suggestive of some sort of chest infection for which you can give your father some antibiotic preferably Levoflox or augmentin after an expert advice along with diominic-dca or wikoryl for wheezing and congestion. For cough with mucus you can give him bro-zedex or ambrodil-s syrup three times daily. Advice him to do warm water gargles and take steam inhalation to reduce the congestion in the chest.
