Suggest Remedy For White Scabbed Wound From A Cut On The Lip
I think i have a small cut arround the outside rim of the lower lip after using electric toothbrush. It s healing very slow. It looks like i have white tissue on top of this raised red little 0.3 mm diameter round wound. The white tissue does not dry out and fall off after 3 days. but white tissue area becomes a little smaller. no pain , no discharge. it does not look infected. How do I help it to heal in this cold dry winter. How long does it take to heal? How do I keep this raised bump hydrated ? Will the white tissue falls off by itself when it heals ?
The white tissue is appearing to be the healing tissue that will gradually remodel and covert into the normal healthy and mature skin..
As there is no pain, redness or discharge and as the scar is also reducing or shrinking in size, therefore it is also a sign of healing..
For now you can simply apply antiseptic ointment over it to avoid infection and along with it you should also avoid touching it again and again to avoid infection in the wound..
In case if there is any pain or redness you can consult an Emergency room..
Hope this helps..
Regards..
