Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
i frequently get strange sounds in my ear--not ringing or hissing, but a sound that I can only describe as wah, wah wah like shaking a large thing sheet of aluminum. It sounds weird but it bothers me all the time. Can you tell me what could be causing this and if there is a treatment?
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, if this is not he ringing sound (tinnitus), as you described the sound here this is very nonspecific as long as some ear conditions are concern but this could be due to "Auditory hallucination" and this is the functional condition try to control your thought, be positive, and practical if you need to keep your self away from psychiatrist, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
