Suggest Remedy For Worsened Asthma Symptoms Due To Dust
Our office building is currently being remodeled, including removing several walls. Last Monday, I noticed I was coughing a lot and had to blow my nose a lot. Tuesday, my throat was getting sore and the coughing was much worse. My supervisor sent me home early, fearing that dust might be worsening my asthma. I have been sick since then, with no sign that it is clearing up. I cough all night and when I try to lie down and rest during the day, the coughing gets much worse. Do you have any idea what I can do to help easy my symptoms?
I am sorry to hear about your problems and i will do my best to help you.
The symptoms that you are describing can be attributed to either an attack of acute asthama or allergic bronchitis or any upper respiratory Infection. No need to panic though, you may require some tests like a CBC, Chest X Ray, an skin allery test , Serum IgE levels and other testa to formulate a diagnosis. however in the mean tome you can try steam inhalation and possible avoidance of dust allergen by taking time off work or work from home. I again suggest you to see a physician so that you can undergo proper evaluation and necessary management.
