Suggest Remedy To Cure Cough During Pregnancy

hi am 5 months pregnant and suffering from bad cough since almost a month due to which i even have muscle spasm in my chest which is painful with every bought of cough. also now again i have started getting throat infection due to climate changes. fearing of my cough day by day.
Please help. i am already on grilinctus syrup, bedazine tablets and have finished a antibitoic course of cefixime tablet. i have started taking homepath since 15 days but still no improvement.
plz suggest.

I can understand your concern.
In my opinion, you should consult pulmonologist first and get done clinical examination of respiratory system.
If pulmonologist heard rhonchi and wheezing then bronchitis is more likely and you will need inhaled bronchodilator and inhaled corticosteroids (ICS).
But if he found crepitation and crackle then you may need chest x ray with abdominal shield (to prevent radiation exposure to your baby) to rule out pneumonia.
You may need higher antibiotics too.
So don't wait, consult pulmonologist and discuss all these.
Don't worry, with appropriate drugs, you will be alright.
