Suggest Remedy To Cure Hacking Cough

i was giving in PROVENTIL INHALER FOR A HACKING COUGH LAST YEAR IT WAS LIKE A DOG BARKING COUGH I USALY TAKE 2 MONTHS FOR ME TO GET TO THE DR, AND I ALWAYS GET INHALER SHOULD I ASK FOR REFILLS. THE INHALER NEVER HAS A REFIL COUGH SYRUP AND COUGH DROPS DO NOT WORK MY SISTER HAS ASTHMA. IT SEEMS LIKE AFTER I AM USING THE INHALER, FOR A WEEK IT SEEMS LIKE THE ONLY THING TO CALM MY COUGH
