Hi there.
Thanks for writing in.
The fatigue after
glandular fever can sometimes take months to recover.
I would advise you to sign up for yoga classes. Do
meditation or
relaxation techniques , which will help you relax.
Maintain a good diet, with plenty of warm fluids.
Drink 8 glasses of water a day.
Follow a balanced diet with cereals, pulses, fruits, vegetables and nuts.
Avoid oily, spicy, deep fried foods.
Avoid smoking and alcohol, tea, coffee.
Do some light exercise at the gym or home. Try to step out of the home . If you stay indoors most of the time, it is only going to worsen the symptoms.
Certain investigations that you might want to get ...in case you don't feel better with the above measures are:
TSH, blood sugars,
Vitamin B12, Vitamin D,
Hemoglobin levels. Any abnormalities in the values can cause symptoms similar to what you are experiencing now.
A vitamin supplement with Vitamin B complex with Vitamin C might also help.
Hope my answer was helpful to you.
Regards,
Dr. Divya Kuttikrishnan
