Suggest Remedy To Wean Off Antidepressants In A Teenager

My son of 17 years has been on antidepressants for the past 2 years, he is taking wellbutrin x 300, sertral x 50 and occasionally xanax by 0.5. He is stable mentally but lost his emotions and interest in school and work, suffering from apathy and bluntness. Our medical consultant prescribed seroquel x 50, however, my son does not want to take it due to the risk of overweight and cholesterol/diabetes. The risks are worrying and my son is still young. We are highly concerned, would like your advice. Thank you
