Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Yes, my son is 26 and has been identified with high blood pressure and is not taking his medication. He is not over weight, he has always been tremendously healthy by means of daily exercise and eating very healthy! My question is - how bad is it for him not to take his HB medication? What symptoms would be present from not taking the meds?
HI Thank for asking to HCM I really appreciate your concern for your son, and here you did not mentioned the reading of blood pressure it would have been helpful, looks as long as the bad consequences of high blood pressure is there so this is not happens at once but it takes years and some time may not happens and the most common are cerebral and cardiac stroke, this is just a general information and not particular for some one, take care and have a nice day.
