Suggest Safe Painkiller For Headache

Sir, I am based in India. For the past many years I am required to take one saridon 2 to 3 times in a week to get relief from headache. Will this result in any serious complications. Can you suggest any other effective and safe painkillers ? (Age 45. Height 5.6. Weight 60 Kgs)

I had gone through your query and understand your concern.

Saridon is known to reduce pain within 15 minutes and its a combination of 3 drugs. Any medication which is taken for longer duration will cause other health problems. We call them as side effects. No medication is free of side effects.

Taking Saridon for 2 to 3 times a week ( I assume that you are not taking more than one tablet per day) will not cause any serious problems.

Saridon is known to cause liver problems, gastric problems etc. These problems are seen in patients who take 2 to 3 tablets daily for longer duration.

The reason for your head ache is not clear from your question. My suggestion is whenever you get head ache, try to take deep breaths for 2 to 3 min. Calm yourself. Take a walk for few minutes without worrying about anything or try to meditate for few minutes, inhale steam, drink coffee. You need not to do everything mentioned above. Try to follow 1 or 2 things which are convenient to you. If your head ache still persists after all these then think of taking tablets.

Persistent head ache is may be due to any underlying disease. Consider an evaluation if needed.
