Suggest Safe Way Of Contraception While Still Breast Feeding
Hi Doctor, My baby s just 10 weeks old, and I had unprotected sex on her 8 th week,is it safe to take any pills, as am breastfeeding mother? as normally don t menstruate while feeding, so when can I take pregnancy test? what are the preventive measures I can take now?

Levonorgestrel (LNG), a low-dose progestin, does not affect lactation but like all drugs taken by breastfeeding mothers, it can be transferred to the infant via breast milk. It is safe to introduce LNG to breastfeeding mothers at 12 weeks postpartum.
